Opening in 2006 as Gympie One Stop Furniture, we quickly became the go-to place for furniture shops in Gympie. Whilst we are still servicing the great people of Gympie, the business rebranded and relocated to Cooloola Cove.

From Gympie to Cooloola Coast๏ปฟ
Opened by her father in as a premier furniture store in Gympie, Nicola took over the business in 2015. Nicola ran the Gympie based business whilst servicing Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. In 2020 during the COVID pandemic, Gympie One Stop Furniture closed down. Quality furniture once found in Gympie was relocated to Cooloola Coast in June of 2020 to ensure that clients were still given the same great service.

A New Home on the Coast
As COVID brought the Gympie store to a close, Nicola didn't walk away — she relocated to Cooloola Cove and opened Cooloola Coast Furniture & Bedding, ensuring her loyal customers still had somewhere to turn.

Meet the Owner – Nicola
Furniture has been part of Nicola’s life since she was 18, working alongside her family and learning the value of genuine service, quality products and treating every customer like a person, not a transaction.
After qualifying and working in early childhood education and care, Nicola took over the family furniture business in 2016 with her four-month-old daughter, Isla, by her side. She spent the next several years growing the business in Gympie before opening in Cooloola Cove in 2020, this time with her six week old daughter, Sophie, joining her at work.
Since then, Nicola has worked tirelessly to build a welcoming local business that supports families and communities throughout the region. As a single mum balancing full time work and family life, she is proud to show her daughters what hard work, a positive mindset, and the support of family and community can achieve.
When you visit Nicola and her team, you can expect friendly service, honest advice and absolutely no pushy sales tactics, just genuine help finding furniture you’ll love for years to come.
